This is where it all started at the dusty street of Kwazakhele. It happened before where one of us made it to the top level of football.

We can still do it if we can work together as the community and develop the best in the country.

•“I was born and bred in Kwazakhele in Gqebera and later went to school in Tsomo where my parents were born. The life I lived in these two communities, the urban and rural areas taught me very important values of life respect and humility. In my growing up I have never been coached by a professional or someone with a coaching qualification but through determination and discipline I was fortunate that I ended up at a professional club like Umtata Bush Bucks. There were better talented players than me but they lacked discipline. When I arrived in Umtata I was lost, didn’t know what was expected of me, how to navigate being away from home with no support or close people to rely on. Iin my second year as a professional I registered for my degree at the University of Transkei. While I was simultaneously studying and playing soccer I remembered who I was and where I was born I then started a Sipho Ndzuzo Foundation that was organising school holiday football tournaments in Port Elizabeth and surrounding areas. That was the way I was giving-back to the community that raised me and those tournaments developed a lot of players that became professional and others went overseas like Lwazi Sahule who played in Denmark”.
